THE SHINDIG team would like to thank all those that attended THE 2023 SHINDIG (along with all our past attendees) and thoroughly enjoyed a rugby day out with entertainment, socializing and friendly banter and accord. The match result definitely helped! However, it is becoming increasingly obvious that we can no longer run THE SHINDIG in the same format.

The SHINDIG TEAM are not prepared to run an event that may cause attendees to be subject to threats of disciplinary action and unsubstantiated diktats! Therefore, this website is currently being revamped to become a membership only site. All past attendees will be contacted, in the near future, to ask whether they wish to remain on THE SHINDIG mailing list and also to agree that they are attending as civilians, and NOT in a military capacity what-so-ever.

It is hoped that the event will become an Alumni/Reunion type event and as such we will only take bookings for ten or more. The package we deliver will be dependent on how many attendees indicate their intention to attend. A survey will be sent to all past attendees, and Alumni organisations that have expressed a wish to attend, canvasing their interest.

THE SHINDIG regret that after 15+ years we are being forced to change a very successful format. Please complete the survey that you will receive in due course, if you are on our mailing list,  and if you are not on our current mailing list why not contact us, @ admin@theshindig.org.uk, and we will send you the relevant information.
